Er, I think you’re mixing Mark Helprin with Mark Halperin. Helprin is a fine novelist albeit something of a political ninny; Halperin’s the journalist whose hands reportedly stray.

By the way, one that might be interesting: “The Secret Life of Bill Clinton” by Ambrose Evans-Pritchard. I haven’t read it though. Who cares? 😉
