Grateful to writer Taylor Dibbert for taking time to interview me on process and purpose behind my nonfiction debut. Hope you’ll take a look at his work on Medium.
Among the questions discussed: How long did it take to write Profiles in Service: Peace Corps Roots in American Diplomacy and how did you go about getting it published? He also wanted to know if I had any new projects in the works:

Always.
My current passion is reviving an upmarket suspense novel about drug trafficking and espionage in West Africa. It’s going to be a blockbuster! Also, Do you know anyone who might publish a nonfiction piece titled “Hope and Tragedy in the Thar”? about a big-list birder in search of the critically endangered Great Indian Bustard in the desert shared by India and Pakistan.
I know quite a few who won’t.
