Micro-fiction channeling moments of truth.

Walking the forests of the Shenandoah National Park last week, I thought about how I’d pass the days and weeks and months as a thru-hiker on the Appalachian Trail.
One exercise I settled on for keeping sane step after step was to craft a 100-word story each day out there.
Somehow the challenge stuck and I find myself drafting these nuggets even in sivilised settings.
Not all are ready for prime time, but a few are worth sharing.
As usual, title words are excluded from the count.

Vikram said, ‘I don’t get it. It’s kinda dumb. There’s no plot and its very repetitive.’ So that blows.
I say, good thing it was only 100 words.
Oh, also, all they wanted to do was count the words. So not sure who really missed the point here.
